Pilates Classes with DANYELLA DANTZIE

Thursday Evening Pilates Classes

Full Body Focus
Both the 5:30pm and 6:30pm Pilates classes focus on full-body movement and reinforce the core principles of Pilates: alignment, breathing, and centring (core stability). In each session, you’ll build strength, improve mobility, and develop greater body awareness—all in a safe and supportive environment.

5.30 – 6.30pm – Foundations Class
Ideal for beginners, those new to Pilates, returning to exercise, or simply seeking a slower-paced class. This session introduces Pilates principles, terminology, and fundamental movements that lay the groundwork for more advanced exercises.

6.30 – 7.30pm – All Levels Class
This class builds on Pilates foundations with more intermediate-level exercises designed to challenge coordination, enhance core stability, and build strength. While the intensity may be higher, all levels are welcome, and modifications will be provided throughout to suit your individual needs. Whether you’re continuing your Pilates journey or looking to level up, you’ll be supported every step of the way.

Bring a mat – come along and have some fun in a very supportive environment!

Walk for Dementia: Join the 31-Mile Challenge This May!

This May, Wintern House invites you to lace up your walking shoes and join us in making a difference—one step at a time.

We’re proud to be supporting Dementia UK with our Walk for Dementia Challenge. The goal is simple but powerful: walk just 1 mile a day throughout May, adding up to 31 miles by the end of the month. It’s an achievable challenge for all ages and abilities, designed to boost both physical and mental wellbeing, while also raising awareness for a cause close to many hearts.

To take part, head to Wintern House reception and pick up your activity card for a £1 donation—you’ll find the donation box right there. Each day, tick off your mile, and once you’ve completed all 31, return your card in June to receive your well-deserved medal!

This isn’t about speed or distance—it’s about participation, community spirit, and the positive impact of movement. Donations are completely voluntary. Our focus is on encouraging everyone to get outside, get active, and support Dementia UK in a gentle but meaningful way.

Let’s walk together this May—every step counts!
